Hashir belongs to the select community of globally recognized fund managers with his professional status as a CFA (Chartered Financial analyst) and LIFA (Licensed International Financial Analyst). A gold medalist from IBA, Karachi, he has many other academic distinctions to his credit as well.

During a career spanning across three decades, He served on many key positions. After starting his career as a banker with Muslim Commercial Bank, he quickly moved on to become a full time financial consultant and worked for a number of government, semi government and private enterprises. His specialty remained financial reengineering, corporate restructuring, fund management, debt portfolio rescheduling, capacity building and feasibility study management.
Besides being a professional consultant, he also managed other responsibilities in the corporate sector including his stay with Islamic International Trust as Project Director and with Greenwich University as a Director. He also served as Director of HIRCON at Hamdard Foundation and Chief Coordinator of Foundation Center for Research and Development at Fauji Foundation.

At a later stage, He devoted more time to academia and taught advanced level finance courses at prestigious institutes including FAST-NU, NUST, Bahria University, Hamdard University, Islamic International University, Foundation University and APCOMS. Besides his academic interests he remained involved with large scale financial and HR capacity building consultancies.
He also established the platform of FAST Consulting, which later transformed into National Examination & Evaluation Foundation (NEEF). From that platform he has successfully executed large scale projects Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of IT & Telecom, PSEB, PTCL R&D Fund, National ICT R&D Fund, Pakistan Railways, Education Fund for Sind, Printing Corporation of Pakistan, Ministry of Elementary Education Khyber Pakhtunkhaw, Punjab Education Foundation, Sindh Education Foundation and Federal Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education. Hashir is an accomplished trainer and specializes in the areas of Financial Management, Finance for non Finance Managers, Resource Optimization, Capacity Building, Project Evaluation, Financial Strategy and Financial Analysis.

34 years professional experience in general management and human resource across the FMCG, Utilities, and Financial sectors of the economy. In his most recent role as Chief Human Resource Officer (and a member of the Senior Leadership Team) at K-Electric for over 7 years, he successfully lead the first ever HR turnaround in Pakistan, of a typical loss making Public Sector company, to a modern profit making Private Sector company. This successful HR and Commercial turnaround at KE, has been duly captured in a business school case study, and a published book for general public “From KESC to KE – A Company reborn”.

Prior to K-Electric, Mr. Manzur served in various C-Suite management positions at PepsiCo, Coca-Cola, SMEDA, Union Bank (Pakistan) and MashreqBank (Dubai). He is also the winner of “PepsiCo President’s Ring of Honor” award winner – a recognition accorded to the top 5% of the top 25% best performing sales/marketing, category employees of PepsiCo world-wide.

At present, he’s working as an independent business consultant/advisor. His recent service offerings are highlighted but are not limited to: business transformation through overall organizational restructuring; with optimal staffing levels; designing performance management systems for measuring and rewarding business performance; designing performance based compensation and reward systems; designing change management and communication programs to help implement organizational transformation initiatives; executive coaching for high performance.

Mr. Manzur has been an active board member of the Pakistan Society for Human Resource Management (PSHRM) and Pakistan Society for Training and Development (PSTD), and has also taught HR and Marketing courses to the MBA classes at the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Karachi and National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences (former FAST), Lahore.

He has an MBA in Marketing from the University of the Punjab – Pakistan, and a Master of Science in Management from Frostburg State University, Maryland – USA.

Shahid Qadri is an IBA graduate specializing in Sales and Marketing, with over 30 years of diverse work experience with leading local, multinational, government and NGO sector organizations of the country. He has been associated with Packages Limited, Lakson Tobacco (now Philip Morris), Ciba Geigy (now Novartis), K&N’s, Habib Oil Mills and Greenstar Social Marketing. He has also been associated with Pakistan Institute of Management as a trainer, educator and administrator for over three years, and is regularly invited as guest speaker and evaluator for marketing projects and assignments nationwide.
